March 19 COVID-19 Update

City offices and facilities will remain closed to the public until Sunday, April 5, inclusive. Staff can still be reached for essential matters. To learn more about how to reach City services, visit this page: www.Cornwall.ca/coronavirus.

Cornwall City Council is holding a special meeting on Friday, March 20 at 2 p.m. Residents may watch online here:  www.Cornwall.ca/council.

Licensed home child care centres will close at end of day on Friday, March 20.

The Cornwall Police Service will be enforcing orders under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act. Learn more here. CPS has also issued an alert about a COVID-19 scam, and reduced services in their offices.

Glen Stor Dun Lodge residents can now chat with loved ones on donated iPads with Skype and Google Duo. The Lodge is currently closed to visitors unless they are coming to see a severely ill or dying resident. Learn more here.

The community resources and support helpline remains open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at 613-933-6282 ext. 3129.

City of Cornwall council and administration thank residents for their patience and cooperation during this challenging time.
