Community Invited to Participate in Cornwall Transit Master Plan Review and Planning
The City of Cornwall is pleased to announce a series of public open houses as part of the ongoing review of the Cornwall Transit service. Residents, businesses and interest holders are encouraged to attend and share their feedback on the future of transit in Cornwall.
The Transit Master Plan aims to assess the performance and function of the current transit service, determine the transit needs of the City and its residents, and recommend a strategic Master Plan for the next five years. This will include a detailed operations and implementation plan, as well as a further five-year forecast, providing guidance for the next decade. Notably, the review will also examine the potential introduction of Sunday service.
The City has retained Watt Consulting Group to lead the review process and provide expert recommendations for the development of the Master Plan.
