These bins are part of a pilot project to provide opportunities to recycle in public spaces and promote recycling behaviours. The project is also expected to assist with the diversion of waste from the landfill, and ensure a cleaner and more welcoming environment.

March20Smart phone users have three options to connect with the City of Cornwall through smart phone apps: Recycle Coach, Transit, and the soon-to-be-launched parking app.
In light of these partnerships, Cornwall’s Pingstreet app will be de-activated as of December 20, 2019. The app was launched in 2014, and allowed residents to connect with their municipality through their smart phone.
