Cornwall celebrates Canada 150

Upcoming Events

Canada Day in Lamoureux Park - Saturday, July 1st

The annual Canada Day celebration will officially kick off at 12 pm and continue through the day, culminating with an 8:30 pm performance by hometown favourite Paul Deslauriers and a spectacular fireworks display at 10 pm.

In between, there will be live entertainment, a petting zoo, inflatable castles, a children's Fun Zone, food vendors and other free activities to keep residents of all ages entertained.

Fishing Derby - Monday, July 3rd

Celebrate Canada and fishing with our special Fishing Derby on Monday, July 3rd in Lamoureux Park!

The event is for youth between the ages of 8 and 15. It runs from 10 am to 3 pm, rain or shine, and there will be fishing lessons, a barbecue and of course, some fishing.

Please note space is limited and spots are being filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Meet and Greet Community Picnic - Wednesday, July 19th

Pack a basket for your family and add some extra to share! It starts at 5 pm in Lamoureux Park! There will be children's entertainment at the picnic and a free Arts In The Park performance with Seaway Winds at 7 pm.

Canada 150 Committee

The City of Cornwall has established a Canada 150 Committee to help plan and support special events throughout the year to help mark Cornwall's Canada 150 celebrations.
