Monthly Pass Photo I.D. Card
When purchasing your initial monthly bus pass, you will be required to have your photo taken at the Cornwall Transit. Should you lose or misplace your photo i.d. card with or without a sticker, there is a replacement cost of $ 6.50 and you must have your receipt for the initial purchase of the pass. Otherwise you will be required to pay the full purchase price.
Federal Tax Credit
All monthly bus passes qualify for a FEDERAL TAX CREDIT. Individuals can claim a non-refundable tax credit on their personal income tax. For more information, please visit the Government of Canada tax credit page at www.transitpass.ca.
All transit users, Adult, Student and Seniors are eligible for this tax relief. To support a claim for the Federal Tax Credit, you must retain your expired monthly transit pass and receipt.
THIS COULD RESULT IN AN ANNUAL PERSONAL INCOME TAX SAVINGS OF UP TO $ 100.00.
