Outdoor Rinks

Outdoor rink

Outdoor rinks provide valuable recreation and leisure opportunities for people of all ages.

The Department of Planning, Parks and Recreation operates a number of outdoor rinks throughout the community.

The City is fortunate to have a number of outdoor rinks that are maintained by community-minded volunteers.

Residents who are interested in volunteering can contact Lorne Taillon, Leisure Arts Coordinator, at (613) 938-9898 ext. 2.

Weather conditions & the availability of volunteers both play an important role in the quality of outdoor rinks.

Use our handy online map to locate an outdoor near you!

The outdoor rinks at Optimist and King George parks feature outdoor
lights that are on from 5 pm to 11 pm each night.

There is also a light installed near the rink in Alexander Park, and there
is street lighting located near most of the rinks.
