Improv for Youth - Summer Session

Program Outline

"Kids will have fun learning how to think on their feet and create unique skits and scenes. Improv is a great way to learn how to adapt to a new situation and to allow for creativity to blossom. Voice and movement techniques will be a focus as well to help train the individual participants. Expect to have lots of fun and laughter."

Our Fearless Leader !! Instructor Brett Desrosiers - Brett has been a working actor, writer, director and teacher of drama for many years now. She possesses a Diploma in Theatre Arts from Algonquin College and a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree with a Specialization in Theatre Arts from the University of Ottawa.  Brett's specialty is in comedy but she has both directed and acted in dramatic plays.  All and all, Brett sees theatre and drama as a chance for people to build confidence with their speaking and presentation skills and to allow for creativity to blossom.

Improv for Adults

Thursdays from March 23 - June 1, 2017
7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
$150.00 + HST

Program Outline

"Focus will be on how to create scenes and skits through Improv techniques. Voice and movement will be a part of the classes as well to help with presentation technique. Depending on the participants, script writing can be introduced to help with scene developments. Prepare yourself for fun, excitement, and some general tom foolery (wait, that's a term, not an actual person)."
