Storm Realty Cornwall Winterfest Carnaval 2013
Thursday February 14th - Monday February 18th
The Storm Realty Cornwall Winterfest Carnaval 2013 will be held from February 14th - 18th!
This is a "Celebration of Family" and a premier winter event that brings the entire community and area together!
The list of planned events and activities includes:
- Three evening fireworks displays by David Whysall’s Team Canada International Fireworks team in Lamoureux Park on February 15th, 16th and 17th
- Live entertainment
- Outdoor skating
- An inflatable midway
- A dance party
- Wagon rides
- Free Swimming at Cornwall Aquatic Centre on Monday February 18th

First Swim - 12:00 - 12:50 p.m.
Second Swim - 1:00 - 1:50 p.m.
Third Swim - 2:00 - 2:50 p.m.
Fourth Swim - 3:00 - 3:50 p.m.

The success of the festival depends largely on the support of community sponsors, and organizers have secured 70 partners and sponsors for the 2013 edition of the festival. Storm Realty Cornwall is the title sponsor for the third consecutive year. Other major sponsors include the City of Cornwall, Children’s Aid Society, Supply Chain Management, Bell Canada and the Kinette Club of Cornwall. Media Partners include the Seaway News, Cornwall Express, Corus Entertainment, TVCogeco, Standard-Freeholder and the Local Seeker.
Winterfest currently has a contest underway that allows residents to support the festival while also having a chance to win tickets to eight premier events – Justin Bieber, Rhianna, Bon Jovi, Billy Talent, Kinsmen Lift-Off 2013 (weekend pass), Stars on Ice, Disney on Ice and the Harlem Globetrotters.
Tickets are available at the CNIB Lottery Booth in the Cornwall Square, Short-Line Convenience and Video (1300 Second Street West), MacMillan's Convenience (35 Marlborough Street), Storm Realty Cornwall (408 Pitt Street), Partir D'un Bon Pas (610 McConnell Avenue) and Le Centre Culturel de Cornwall (124 Anthony Street). Tickets are 1 for $2 or 3 for $5 and the prize will be drawn at 6 pm on Sunday, February 17th at the Bandshell in Lamoureux Park.
