Big Ben Ski Centre
Big Ben Ski Centre has been operating for over 30 years. It is currently operated by Leader Sports, a recreation management company, in partnership with the City of Cornwall.
The Centre opens mid-December and closes late March (weather permitting). The entrance is 300 meters west of Brookdale Avenue on Seventh Street extension.
Big Ben's facilities include:
- Wire cable tow
- Grooming & snow making equipment
- Snowboarding half pipe
- Under lights Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Heated Chalet, change trailor and snack bar
Have a group outing? Big Ben Ski Centre is open for rental to groups and organizations. Please note that Big Ben does not have ski or snowboard equipment for rent.
Big Ben Ski hours of operation:
Wednesday through Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Ski and Snowboard School
The Ski and Snowboard School lessons begin each January and run for six consecutive weekends for all age groups. Snowboard lessons are held weeknights. Prices are inexpensive and the lessons are taught by certified instructors. Registration will take place at Big Ben Ski Hill on Friday December 11 and 18 from 6 - 8 p.m. and Saturday December 12 and 19 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
