Brenda Levert - BIO - I have been painting and drawing since I was a young child.  Growing up I was lucky to have my own personal teacher, my father, the late Ted Sonne. After high school I went to Art School in Montreal. After Art School I chose to work in watercolours and later switched to acrylics.  I have over 35 years of painting and teaching experience. Now I teach painting and drawing in Cornwall, Ottawa and Rockland. I have taught at many painting conventions in Canada and the USA, as well as in my studio and art store.  I have been a member of several art associations over the years and have exhibited in many shows, in Quebec and Ontario.  Teaching painting and drawing is something that I love to do.
Participants also have the added benefit of making new friends, it's a perfect way to keep your mind active and have fun at the same time.  Supplies will be provided.  If you are interested in our Painting Class, please contact the Leisure Arts Coordinator for further program information at 613-938-9898 ext. 2 or via e-mail at
