March 23, 2012

There will be plenty of sweet times in store this weekend during the annual Cabane À Sucre event.

Based at the Army Navy Air Force Club on Marlborough Street, the two-day event kicks off on Friday, March 23 with a number of activities and entertainment by Jean-Francois Thibault and Les Bons Vivants. The fun continues on Saturday, March 24 with a community breakfast and more entertainment, including performances by upcoming star Mathieu Poirier and country star Guylaine Tanguay.

A “cabane” will be erected in the parking lot of the Army, Navy, Air Force Club, and sap will be boiled on a wood stove. There will be fiddlers, bands, kiosks, singing, and much more.
