Finding Content
The Home page introduces you to the main content categories, and to aid you finding content, the site offers several navigation methods.
In general, as you navigate the site, you may click on a link to another part of the site for more details or related information. Please be aware that in many cases the new page you are viewing is not the only page with relevant details you should be aware of. It may be the first in a group of pages that you can locate by pointing on the menu to the left of the page.
If you click a link, you can click your browser's back button to return to the previous page.
Main Navigation Bar
The Main Navigation bar displays at the top of each page, allowing you to access the Home page as well as the main content categories. When you click on a main category button you will open a new page that displays the introduction to that section of the web site.
The Main Navigation bar also offers a drop down menu of links to key content areas within that section of the website. In many cases more pages are available for a topic area than appear on the drop down menus, however the drop down menus are a great way to get quickly into the heart of the website.
The light blue bar below the Main Navigation Bar indicates you current position overall (and will tell you if you have moved to another section of the site).
Site Map
There is an overall site map that lists all available pages on the website. You can access the Site Map from each page by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page. Please note that the Site Map does not list documents such as PDFs or images.
Keyword Search
You can perform a keyword search by using the search tool that appears in the top right hand corner of every page. A results list is displayed. Click the link for the item you want to view, or click the browser's back button to return to the previous page.
Finding Departments
All content on the website is uploaded by various City staff members. You can quickly view all of the content that any particular department has on the website by using the City Departments index which can be found in the City Government section.
Find Contacts
You can locate key City personnel by using the City Staff Directory page which can be found in the City Government section.
