Part Time and Casual Dietary Aides

The City of Cornwall is currently recruiting for part time and casual Dietary Aides for employment at Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge.

Applicants must possess the following: Grade 12 education and a Food Service Worker Certificate from a recognized College program;  3 dementia Courses from St. Lawrence College or Algonquin College;  Eastern Ontario Health Unit Food Safety Sanitation Course;  minimum one-year recent experience in food service including cashier work and volunteer/work experience serving the elderly; physically able to complete heavy work duties involving lifting up to 50 pounds and washing institutional equipment; excellent personal hygiene, appearance and communication skills.  Conversational French will be considered as an asset.
