The City of Cornwall would like to advise that reduced load limits will be in effect on certain City streets beginning Wednesday, March 1st. The restrictions will be in place until May 1st or sooner subject to favourable weather conditions.
The reduced load limits are necessary in order to preserve the integrity of certain roads during the spring thaw period. Similar restrictions are in place on select roads in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

winter parking restrictionsThe City of Cornwall would like to advise motorists that overnight on-street winter parking restrictions are being lifted early.
Overnight winter parking restrictions are typically in place until March 31st, however the restrictions can be lifted during the month of March at the discretion of Municipal Works based on the status of existing snow accumulation and the weather forecast.
