Winter drivingWith the winter weather conditions now upon us, the City of Cornwall would like to remind motorists to be extra cautious behind the wheel.

Safe driver awardsCornwall Transit employees were honored during a breakfast ceremony on Wednesday, December 13th at the Cornwall Transit facility on Second Street West.

Winter parkingThe City of Cornwall would like to advise motorists that overnight winter parking restrictions will be in effect on Monday, December 11th and Tuesday, December 12th.
The latest forecast shows snowfall amounts reaching upwards of 15 centimetres by Tuesday evening. As such, overnight parking on any roadway on Monday and Tuesday night will be restricted.

DowntownResidents can take advantage of free parking after 4 pm in the Downtown and Le Village areas when heading out to shop or dine during the holiday season.
Cornwall City Council recently passed a motion to waive parking fees after 4 pm in all designated on-street parking spaces and municipal parking lots in the Downtown and Le Village commercial areas.

Winter parkingLike many other communities, the City of Cornwall has overnight winter parking restrictions in place during the winter season.
These restrictions are necessary in order to ensure snow clearing activities can be completed in a safe and effective manner.
