City_HallHappy Thanksgiving!
Please take note of the following changes to City facility opening hours for Monday, October 8.
Civic Complex offices will be closed, but the building will remain open for walkers and joggers.
City Hall and other municipal offices will also be closed.
The Cornwall Public Library will be closed.
The Aquatic Centre will be open for leisure swims only, at 1-1:55 p.m. and 2-3:35 p.m. Office hours will be 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

pitt webIn order to complete the cross culvert replacement located on Pitt Street at the intersection of McKenzie Street, a temporary detour will be in place from October 9 to 12, 2018.
Trucks and non-local traffic are asked to detour via Tollgate Rd, McConnell Ave, South Branch Rd, Cornwall Center Rd and Power Dam Drive.

ch150The Lemay St. extension from St. Michel Ave. to the East property limit of the Municipal Works Yard is expected to begin as early as September 24th, 2018, and should be completed by December 7th, 2018.
From time to time, there may be interruptions of City services but it is the intention to hold these interruptions to a minimum and to complete the work as quickly as possible. The Contractor will notify you when and if any interruptions do take place.

transitAre you headed to the Akwesasne International Powwow on Saturday, Sept. 8 or Sunday, Sept. 9? The Akwesasne Powwow Committee is offering a free shuttle to be supplied by Cornwall Transit.  Hop on at the WalMart parking lot bus stop or Aquatic Centre bus stop, and hop off at the A'nowara'ko:wa Arena. Don't forget to bring appropriate identification for the return trip to Cornwall through the Port of Entry.

ch150On Monday, September 3, you can expect some changes to City of Cornwall programs and services due to Labour Day.
The Civic Complex Main Office will be closed on Monday, but the box office will open at 12 noon. Tickets are on sale for the OHL Game (Ottawa 67’s vs Kingston Frontenacs), to be held at 2 p.m. on Monday afternoon.
The Benson Centre is open for business as usual throughout the weekend, including Monday. The Aquatic Centre pool remains closed as staff continue...
