Cornwall City Hall and other municipal offices will be closed on Monday, July 2.
The Cornwall Civic Complex will remain open with access to the walking track.
The Cornwall Aquatic Centre will be open on Sunday, July 1 from 2 p.m. to 3:25 p.m. for a leisure swim sponsored by the City of Cornwall. The facility will be open as usual on Monday, July 2.

transitThe Read to Ride Program is back, connecting children with books and buses all summer long. Cornwall Transit, in partnership with the Cornwall Public Library, is encouraging children to read books and ride the bus – for free! From July 3 to August 31, children can pick up library cards with a green transit logo in the top left corner. transitOn Sunday, July 1, Cornwall Transit will offer a free shuttle bus from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
For a map and full bus schedule for Canada Day, please visit www.cornwalltransit.ca/en/transit/cornwalltransit.asp.
On Monday, July 2, Cornwall Transit offices will be closed, and buses will not be running.
Cornwall Transit and the City of Cornwall wish all residents a Happy Canada Day.

ccvs transitCornwall Transit is rewarding three school groups for their efforts in promoting the city bus system and making it more accessible to a new generation.
Cornwall Collegiate Vocational School’s “Way To Go” film earned participating students the first place prize of $500, while Bridgewood Public School and École secondaire catholique La Citadelle tied for second place, earning a prize of $300 each.

City_HallA large watermain break has occurred at a 24-inch watermain at Augustus and Water Streets. City staff are assessing and isolating the break, which may cause significant water outages along Water Street.
